The Gafieira Rio Miami: Brazilian Big Band, led by Latin GRAMMY winner Diogo Brown, will take the stage at Pinecrest Gardens as part of our Tropical Nights Series. This ensemble breathes new life into the sound of gafieira, a vibrant and historic samba tradition, with a modern, big-band twist. Featuring the talented vocalist Isa Duarte and a selection of top Miami-based musicians, this performance promises to be a highlight of the series.

La tarde del 3 de marzo, el MDCA se vestirá de gala con una voz cautivadora, una banda de músicos experimentados, y un repertorio que nos llenará de grandes emociones con canciones como "Va Todo Al ganador," "No te quiero más," "Concierto para una voz," y el estreno de su nuevo álbum "Marinel Una Voz". Named as one of “Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 Classical Musicians” of 2022 by the National Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC), Canadian-American pianist Victoria Wong first made her orchestral debut at the age of five and has since performed on tour with the Hong Kong Symphonia, Canadian Sinfonietta, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and the Millersville University Symphony Orchestra. She graduated with a Master of Music from the Juilliard School, and in 2021, she participated in the prestigious XVIII International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Cleveland Classical wrote: "An emotional performance [......] clearly confirmed her love of Chopin, and his music suits her well." It is no wonder she won a top prize at the Canadian Chopin Competition. The Chopin Foundation is pleased to welcome Victoria back to South Florida for two recitals.
