Letters from Anne and Martin Presented by Temple Beth Am

Letters from Anne and Martin Presented by Temple Beth Am

Developed from Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl and Dr. King’s Letter from a Birmingham Jail, Letters from Anne and Martin brings cultural heroes Anne Frank and Martin Luther King, Jr, to life on stage sharing their hopes and plans for a peaceful and unified world. These icons, both born in 1929, have distinct and eloquent voices, expressing a deep belief in humanity despite their lived experiences facing hatred and oppression. The evening highlights the parallels in their outlooks and ideals, demonstrating the universality of the human experience.

The 40-minute play will be followed by a talkback led by The Anne Frank Center and a dessert reception.
