Changing The Carbon Footprint: The Spirit of Ubuntu Presented by A Reflection of Me

Miami, FL - UBUNTU! “I am because we are.” In honor of Black History month, we invite you to join us for a celebration and conversation, Changing the Carbon Footprint: The Spirit of Ubuntu, on Sunday, February 20, 2022, to relax, relate and release.

Let’s witness and take part in a cultural experience of unity. We are all connected! Let’s celebrate humanity through art, music, dance, and the flavors of us! It’s a pleasure to have Dr. Tameka Bradley Hobbs, social justice leader, author, historian, and educator as our keynote speaker.

Our co-founder and multimedia artist, Isaie Zeek Mathias will showcase his diverse work of art and premiere his short film My Weathered Hands. He will also reveal artwork featuring cotton from the farm of a fifth-generation Black-owned cotton farm, Tillery Farm in North Carolina. Our MC for the evening will be Ms. DeAnne Connolly Graham founder of ROI Media Consultants. We will feature a diverse group of artists, drummers: Harvel Nakundi and Bongo, live painters: Ralph Aguilera and Willandra McGahee, Singer: Tazz, DJ Francois, and more. We will once again taste the flavors of Chef George “Mogal” Slade.

Free general admissions

$50 VIP tickets (memorabilia art and custom mask by Zeek, two complimentary drink tickets, and more), $10 on Zoom/Facebook, and raffles.
