Miami Light Project Technical Fellowship Program: Stage Management

Gain insight into the role of a stage manager, including how to organize rehearsals, run shows, and support production teams.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The responsibilities and mindset of a stage manager
  • How to organize and run rehearsals efficiently
  • Techniques for calling cues and managing show flow
  • Best practices for supporting directors, designers, and performers

The Technical Fellowship Program’s intensive training includes:
  • Workshops focusing on Intro to Lighting, Audio, Video, Stage Management, Light Board, Finance and more.
  • 40 hours of job training – hands-on, one-on-one observation and mentorship, gaining real-time, on-the-job experience backstage during live events.
  • Paid internship – available for those who complete the 40 hours of job training and workshops.
  • Employment opportunities.
