Announcing its media operation in the US, AyiboPost presents “One Nation, Many Lands”, a screening of its two-part documentary series exploring the Haitian Migration in its complexities.
The first documentary “The beautiful story of Louis Market” is an exploration of the Haitian migration story through the lenses of an elderly couple who started their business in Little Haiti, Miami years after they landed on Florida’s shores.
The second documentary “VIREWON. An understanding of the underground industry of Migrant trafficking” is a deep dive in the illicit business around the “Boat People” phenomenon in Haiti.
The projections will be followed by a discussion with the novelist Edwidge Danticat and the journalist Nadege Green. It will be moderated by AyiboPost’s Editor in Chief Widlore Mérancourt.
