After a successful world premiere in Miami in 2019, Bailaora – within me, within you returns by popular demand!

Bailaora – within me, within you traces the evolution of flamenco from a New World perspective.

Award-winning choreographer and dancer Siudy Garrido is recognized for her contemporary work in flamenco. Her company has collaborated with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and flamenco stars Farruquito and Antonio Canales.

The music in Bailaora pairs traditional flamenco instrumentation with synthesized sounds. The narrative takes an emotional journey through dance that results in a humanist and feminist commentary on self-invention and self-determination, revealing the vulnerability and inner strength of a warrior whose only voice is her art.

NEW PROTOCOL FOR ARSHT CENTER

Effective October 5, 2021, the Arsht Center will implement the following requirements to support the health and safety of all guests, artists and staff:

Guests ages 12 and over:  Must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 3 days prior to the performance date.

OR proof of a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken no more than 1 day prior to the performance date 
OR voluntarily provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  Final dose of vaccine must be completed at least 14 days prior to the performance date.

ALL guests age 2 and older:  Required to wear a mask over the mouth and nose regardless of vaccination status, except when actively eating or drinking in designated areas.

2) Once you've completed your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation from TicketWeb with a promo code that you will need to complete the final step and to select your performance time through the Arsht Center's website. You must complete this process before you go onsite for Siudy Flamenco BAILAORA

The age range policy for Culture Shock Miami applies as follows: must be between the ages of 13-22 to purchase a $5 ticket. You may purchase 1 additional $5 ticket for someone of any age. Must present ID as proof of eligible age range in order to be admitted. Full priced tickets for the general public are available through the Arsht Center's website. 

 

Teens and young adults ages 13-22 can buy tickets for $5 using the Get Tickets button below. With the purchase of one $5 ticket for someone within the age range, a second $5 ticket can be purchased for an individual of any age to join them.
