Voices of Angels Presented by the Miami Children's Chorus

Join The Miami Children’s Chorus for a magical holiday tradition the entire family can enjoy. Presented in the City of Coral Gables for over 30 years, “Voices of Angels” - MCC’s annual holiday concert - features over 100 youth voices in a varied and joyful holiday program of traditional and contemporary choral/vocal repertoire with a cappella singing and instrumental accompaniment. Concert selections range in style and genre and include classical works, multicultural works, gospel pieces, jazz, and pop vocal works.

6th Annual Art Blues & Soul Festival Presented by African Heritage Cultural Arts Center

The 6th Annual Art Blues and Soul Festival is an entertaining day of eye-popping visual art, music, food, fun celebrating the rich history of the African Diaspora showcasing the talents of local and national artists. The festival kicks off at 3:30 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. on Saturday December 3, 2022. The Art Blues & Soul Festival is held at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, 6161 NW 22nd Avenue in Miami, Florida. This year’s festival is headlined by singer and songwriter Marsha Ambrosius, formerly of the Grammy-nominated neo-soul duo, Floetry. Other featured performing acts include R&B/Soul singer and songwriter Meli'sa Morgan, R&B musical trio NEXT and legendary singer-songwriter and musician Lenny Williams. Hosted by Miami's very own DJ and creator of Grown Folks Night, Chico the Leo, and BET Comic View Comedian and Lyric Live Host, Chello. Exhibitors include Boris Anje, Precy Numbi, Sesse Elangwe, Nicole Grace, Kingtsey, Aurelia Djena, Hako Hankson and more. The First Frequency exhibition invites South Florida to join in the fun at the opening for a delightful reception on Tuesday November 29, 2022, featuring light bites, beverage, music and giveaways. Admission to the Exhibition Opening and Reception on 11/29/2022 is $10. The exhibition will stay open for viewing until 01/22/2023.

Concert by German López, timplist, presenting his new album ALMA, Special Guest artist, Sammy Figueroa The Koubek Center

The Koubek Center of Miami Dade College presents master timplist Germán López from Spain, presenting his new album "Alma", accompanied by his quintet and special guest percussionist Sammy Figueroa. López, a master of the timple, the small five-stringed guitar native to the Canary Islands, will be performing at the Koubek Center in a one-time concert in Miami on Friday November 18th at 8 PM.

The Latin Divos take Latin Pop, Traditional Opera and Timeless Classics and “Divo-ise” it by adding their Latin flair. The Miami-based trio has performed in prestigious theaters and venues in the USA, Spain, Mexico, Cuba and Panama and have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Latin music. Born and raised in Cuba, where music and arts vibrate on every corner, it’s no wonder that The Latin Divos have quickly captured the attention and hearts of audiences around the world. They just released their album Forever Classics, containing audience favorites like: “Hallelujah,” “Caruso,” “O sole mio,” “Quizas Quizas” and more.

The Beat Goes On Starring Lisa McClowry as Cher Presented by Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

The international touring show, The Beat Goes On features American singer/actress Lisa McClowry's as the Goddess of Pop in her one-woman Broadway-style live stage show. Sing along to Cher’s hits spanning from the ‘60s to now including: “I Got You Babe,” “Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves,” “I Found Someone,” “If I Could Turn Back Time,” ABBA songs from her Dancing Queen album, “Woman’s World,” “Welcome to Burlesque,” “Believe” and so much more! This incredible show also features a live band, video, multiple costume changes, dynamic dialogue, humor, and fun audience participation.

Kimberly Locke: The Sum of All Parts Presented by Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

In her acclaimed one-woman show, The Sum of All Parts , Kimberley Locke shares the songs and stories that have shaped her life. From her childhood in Tennessee, through her breakout on American Idol, to her success as a #1 recording artist, Kimberley performs the soundtrack of her journey. Backed by a 13-piece orchestra, Kimberley pays tribute to Etta James, Judy Garland, and more in a night of intimate storytelling and electric performances.

Julie James Presented by Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

Julie James is best known as the Program Director and celebrity host of Broadway Names with Julie James on SiriusXM’s On Broadway channel where she also gives daily scoop on the Broadway Buzz. An opera & musical theatre professional, Julie utilizes her three-and-a-half octave range to reveal a childhood obsession with jingles, theme songs and Broadway cast albums. Julie made her Broadway debut as a guest star alongside Kristin Chenoweth in her special engagement concert For the Girls and has a lengthy resume of musical theater, opera and concert performances. In her one woman show, Julie delivers a classic evening of favorite tunes with an unconventional style and surprising twists that reveal the songstress, storyteller, and comedienne she truly is.

Charo Presented by Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

Charo is an American music and Pop Culture Icon who has entertained millions throughout her career; instantly recognizable by her trademark expression, “Cuchi Cuchi”. A virtuoso guitarist, singer, composer, actress and comedienne she has been an integral proponent of contemporary Latin music. She was named Female Pop Album of the Year Award at the Billboard International Latin Music Conference for her flamenco inspired platinum album, Guitar Passion. She has appeared in countless hit television shows and more than forty-five appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Charo also guest-starred on Sonny and Cher, The Carol Burnett Showand numerous appearances with Bob Hope and Sammy Davis, Jr.

Matt Doyle Presented by Aventura Arts & Cultural Center

Matt Doyle received the 2022 Tony® Award, Drama Desk Award and the Outer Critics Circle Award for his performance as Jamie in the Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company. Matt previously starred in the world premiere of the Huey Lewis musical The Heart of Rock & Roll at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego. His Broadway credits also include Tony-winning Musicals: The Book of Mormon (in the lead role of ‘Elder Price’) and Spring Awakening; Best Play winner War Horse; and the revival of the beloved musical comedy Bye Bye Birdie. Onscreen, he has appeared on CBS's The Code, on the original Gossip Girl, and in the indie feature Private Romeo. Matt has performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops, at symphonies across the country, and continues to headline a sold-out solo show throughout New York City. His album, Uncontrolled, is available on iTunes.
