Super full moon viewing and sound event at Deering Estate

Super full moon viewing and sound event at Deering Estate

Enjoy a relaxing evening with family and friends on Monday, April 26th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., as you view the Super Full Moon in the Miami sky. Please bring your own telescopes and binoculars.

Please note: Southern Cross Astronomical Society will not be onsite - we will not have telescopes on site as we have had in the past.

Miami-based sound art collective Frozen Music (Gustavo Matamoros, David Dunn and Rene Barge) will also present a multi-channel sound performance. Using custom-designed audio technology to activate and stimulate outdoor spaces, the Frozen Music collective engages otherwise inaudible phenomena in the fields of science, nature and architecture.

Please note that the museums are closed during this event. No tickets sales at the gate. Tickets are non-refundable, rain or shine.

Guests must practice social distancing, wear face coverings (ages 2 and up), and are not allowed to gather in groups larger than 10 people. Sanitation stations are available throughout the event. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you must remain stationary and maintain physical distancing.
