Summer Shorts (Preview Performance) Presented by City Theatre

Summer Shorts is a festival of ten 10-minute plays in one afternoon. Some funny, some serious, some you won't see coming. Three of this year's plays are world premieres by Miami writers. Live music throughout. This is the preview performance, the same day as the festival's 30th anniversary, but the matinee, so you're seeing it before the evening crowd does.

With the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.

Age Appropriateness: 13+ The festival mixes comedy, drama, and tension-driven pieces. Some plays include mature themes (depression, body image, religious satire), adult language, and supernatural/horror tones. Not recommended for younger audiences.
