The String Queens Presented by The Moss Center and Culture Shock Miami

Praised for their authentic, soulful, and orchestral sound, The String Queens is a dynamic trio that creates stimulating musical experiences to inspire audiences to love, hope, feel and imagine!  Violinist Kendall Isadore, cellist Élise Sharp, and violist Dawn Johnson, will perform music from their new release, “RISE”, which showcases the group's vibrant sound with fresh takes on the music of contemporary soul legends and pop icons.
 
Based in Washington, DC, TSQ has been featured in performances at renowned concert halls and venues across America, including Carnegie Hall and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Notable appearances include a special performance dedicated to Vice President Kamala Harris at the “We Are One” Presidential Inauguration Concert in January 2021.  As an ensemble who frequents the D.C. jazz scene, other headlining performances include multiple appearances at the DC Jazz Festival and the Capital Jazz Fest.

 

Note: All Patrons entering the facility require a ticket including infants. Outside food & beverage are not allowed into the venue. Strollers are not permitted inside the auditorium.

It is the policy of Miami-Dade County to comply with all the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center facility is accessible and Assistive Listening Devices are available in the Main Stage Auditorium and the Black Box Theater space.

Teens and young adults ages 13-22 can buy tickets for $5 using the Get Tickets button below. With the purchase of one $5 ticket for someone within the age range, a second $5 ticket can be purchased for an individual of any age to join them.
