During this time of confinement, Eriberto Jimenez, artistic director of the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, tried to maintain a virtual class every day at 10:30 am so that the dancers not only of this company could keep trained. “Rebuilding Together” is a small sample of the individual work of each artist, which we are showing separately, as a preamble to the final result where they all come together in one piece, through the music originally created with the arrangements of the pianist Isaac Rodríguez. During the time of confinement, Rebuilding Together was conceived with the intent to keep looking forward, Eriberto Jimenez, artistic director of the Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center & Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, has maintained a virtual ballet class every day at 10:30 am to allow dancers of this community and abroad, to not only keep training but to also provide a sense of community and connection, with understanding for the importance of physical and mental health , we at the Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center wish to do our part for the community .
Rebuilding Together is a sample of the individuality from each artist whom participated in these classes, bringing together dancers from Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, Dimensions Dance Theater and DanceTown Miami, we are showing the artist separately, as a preamble to the final result where they all come together in one piece, through the music originally arranged and created by pianist Isaac Rodríguez.
