Claude Monet -The Quintessential Impressionist Claude Monet was one of the creators of Impressionism and one of the most convinced and constant in his creative output. It was one of his paintings that gave Impressionism its name. He painted in series the ephemeral effects of nature and the hardships he suffered never deterred him from that pursuit. Armando Droulers is an art historian, educator, lecturer, and consultant. He studied at Bard College, Academia de Arte Federico Brandt, New World School of the Arts and The University of Florida. He lectures on art and culture at museums, universities, schools, cultural centers, corporate events and cruise ships. He has lived in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the United States and speaks fluent English, French and Spanish.
