The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC), is providing a FREE ARTS DAY on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event is offered to all first-time students ages 5-16 to come and explore the performing and visual arts on the historic grounds of Liberty City’s AHCAC, 6161 NW 22nd Avenue, Miami, at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Moonlight Way.
Free Arts Day features classes in dance, art, drama. Attendees will be introduced to the Center’s rich history, various programs, and events. Afterwards, they will participate in two classes ranging from African Dance, Musical Theater, Hip Hop Dance, and more.
Free Arts Day was created to provide access to the arts to under served, low–income communities. Parents interested in registering their child must register by March 8, 2019.
