Special guided tour opportunity
On Saturday, November 17 and Saturday, November 24, enjoy an in-depth account of “Sacred Ground; The Rise, Fall and Revival of Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery” with this curated tour of the cemetery’s archives and the show, Caretakers, by renowned Miami Herald photographers Carl Juste and C.W. Griffin.
Conducted by either the Executive Director, the Director of Historic Research or the Chief Curator of the Museum, it is an opportunity to learn much more than what you can see on the walls, and to ask questions on the project’s organization and the research on over a hundred years of history. You will also learn about the different ways you can get involved and help restore this piece of cultural memory in Miami. Part of the proceeds from this tour goes to the Cemetery restoration project that the Coral Gables Museum has undertaken since January.
