Free Multi Media Live lecture and Performance on the History of the Art of Magic, from 2700 BC to Present.
Presenters Rick Alan & Alexander Beresford discuss the first magic trick ever recorded. Then show video of David Copperfield performing his version of the same trick. Via a power point presentation combined with video and ending in a live performance, the audience will not only learn the History of one of the Oldest of the Performing Arts, but they will see a Live Performance or Classic Magic as well as some new effects. Plus Mentalist Alexander Beresford will mesmerized and amaze the audience.
Age Appropriateness 8 years to 80 years...or more.
The Performers/Lectures are Rick Del Vecchio (A.K.A) Rick Alan and Alexander Beresford.
Rick specializes in Strolling Close-up Magic & Parlor Magic. Rick teaches magic as well. In 2015 one of his students won the Int'l Brotherhood of Magicians, (I.B.M) World Championship Junior Close-up Contest. Rick has also produced Magic on the Beach for 14 years. The New Times called Magic on the Beach the BEST CONVENTION IN MIAMI! Rick has also produced fundraising shows for Nicholas Children's Hospital as well as Jackson Memorial's Children's Hospitals.
Alexander Beresford has performed amazing Mentalism around the World. Corporate Clients include the Discovery Channel, AMC and A & E. Alexander had the honor of performing for President Jimmy Carter & the Secret Service and their families.
