Miami New Drama (MiND) is a theater company committed to artistic excellence and groundbreaking work with a vision of theatre as a powerful vehicle for social change and transformative educational experiences for youth.
In Spring they are launching their first training program for teenagers MiND Theater Workshop an educative experience designed in collaboration with Limitless Health.
Project activities will include courses focused on writing, voice, movement, & acting.
Participants will benefit from training in performance and creation to reflect and respond to important issues in their daily lives and develop empathy and tools for artistic expression within their own community and space.
They will culminate in a presentation of their own production in an open space to the public. So if you are interested in acting, dancing, writing, and developing your creativity to the fullest this program is for you.

Recommended for: Teenagers 13 to 17 years old (with and without theater experience)
Days & Time: Mon, Wed and Fri from 3 pm to 6:15 pm
Start: Monday, March 15, 2021
Duration: 9 weeks. (pause during Spring break)
Mode: Hybrid Learning (Online & In-person)
Classes will start online and when conditions are suitable, the acting and dance classes will be held in open spaces in compliance with all biosafety measures and CDC guidelines.
Location: Colony Theatre, 1040 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
Language: English (Spanish assistance provided)
