TEEN CLUB BROADWAY AT THE ARSHT
Opportunity for students interested in theatre!
This is a free program and participating students get a free subscription to all our Broadway shows as part of the program- SIX , HADESTOWN , DISNEY’S ALADDIN, WICKED, MY FAIR LADY, AIN’T TOO PROUD THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS.
FREE for high school students in Miami-Dade County. Students will learn new skills through a wide range of Broadway style workshops, engage with professionals in the Broadway business and gain collaboration and confidence building training. The program consists of six three-hour monthly meetings plus participation in the four-part pre- and/or post-show Broadway on Biscayne series. Sessions will be held on Saturdays. Each participant receives a Miami Dade Metrocard for transportation from throughout the County and a Broadway in Miami subscription for FREE.

Attach proof of Miami-Dade high school enrollment (report card or transcript) No more than a 1-minute video answering one of the questions below.
- When did you first know you loved theatre and what prompted it?
- Share an experience in the theatre – as audience or performer – when you were most challenged and how you dealt with that challenge.
- How do you imagine a life in the theatre?
ELIGIBILITY: be a high school student in a Miami-Dade County school and reside in Miami-Dade County
- be able to commit to the schedule of workshops and attend performances
- be able to share their experience through your individual social-media platforms
- be a theater-loving student with a curiosity to learn and collaborate with others
Cohort members are expected to attend shows, the pre-post-show series Broadway on Biscayne, and the six Cohort sessions of the program:
