Pedro y El Lobo Presented by Musicall in Concert Zunzún Children Fest

FUNDarte’s FY 2019-20 Season opens Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with the 5th edition of our International Festival of The Arts for Youth and Children, “Zunzún Children’s Fest” featuring Pedro y El Lobo by Musicall (Miami) in Concert at Miami Dade County Auditorium.

This is a great opportunity for the youngest audience in Miami to be introduced to the Classical Music, to move it from listeners to active participants, not only in music, but in history and arts.

Peter and the Wolf , a symphonic fairy tale for children, is a musical composition written by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936. The narrator tells a children’s story, while the orchestra illustrates it. It is Prokofiev’s most frequently performed work, and one of the most frequently performed works in the entire classical repertoire.
ZunZún Children’s Fest celebrates timely cultural programming for families and young audiences through an array of bilingual musical and theatrical projects by local and visiting artists that encourage appreciation of the universal cultural values, the “hispanidad,” Latin America and the Caribbean.

Musicians in Musicall's Advanced Youth Symphony consistently place at the top of the All-State Band and Orchestra Competition and are leaders in their schools and communities. Advanced Youth Symphony is the Musicall’s most advanced youth ensemble and counts with some of the top student musicians in the city.
