Join Fringe Projects and commissioned artists Angel Garcia and Joiri Minaya to celebrate the opening of 3 new works! We will meet at 3pm for light food and drinks at Angel's film intervention at 144 E. Flagler St.
Followed by a brief walk at 4pm to The Torch of Friendship (301 Biscayne Blvd) to see Dominican artist Joiri Minaya's "The Cloaking (...)" While at the site of "The Cloaking of Ponce de Leon (...)," we will have an informal dialogue with Joiri Minaya and María Elena Ortiz of the Caribbean Cultural Institute at PAMM.
For those that would like to continue along with us by car, we will take a quick drive to see Paul Anthony Smith's billboard in the Design District (NW 2nd Ave & 41st St.) and then return back to downtown.
