As a Culture Shock Miami intern, you will promote participation in the arts! Your responsibilities will include:
• Creating content for social media
• Assisting with email marketing communications
• Representing Culture Shock Miami at community events
• Collaborating with our Student Advisory Council
• Assisting with season planning and researching artists
• Other related duties
The Internship will take place at the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs in the Stephen P. Clark Government Center in Downtown Miami, conveniently located on MetroRail and MetroMover lines.
Schedule is flexible and is approximately 10-20 hours a week, with the majority of hours taking place during business hours (Monday – Friday 9AM-4PM) although some weekend and evening hours will be needed for performances and community outreach activities.
Internship is unpaid, but internship credit is available per your school's requirements. Opportunity to receive complimentary tickets to cultural activities in Miami-Dade (subject to availability).Looking for applicants who are passionate about arts and culture and have a strong eye for detail. Previous experience in email marketing and social media promotions is a plus, but not required.
