Culture Shock Miami Intern

The Culture Shock Miami summer intern will have the opportunity to assist with:

·         planning and coordinating our summer events and productions

·         promoting events through news blasts and social media

·         representing Culture Shock Miami at our various summer events

·         17/18 season planning

·         artist research

·         ticketing and inventory management

·         other related duties

Ideally, the Internship will run the first week of June through the first week of August, however start/end dates are flexible. The Internship will take place at the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs located in Government Center in downtown Miami, conveniently located on the MetroRail and MetroMover. Summer internship is approximately 16-20 hours a week, and most hours will take place during regular business hours Monday – Friday, although some weekend and evening hours will be needed. Internship is unpaid, but internship credit is available per your school's requirements.
